Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Jamie’s Dance Odyssey’s nationally-recognized dance competition team!

 

JDO competes in tap, hip hop, contemporary, and jazz.  We have teams, solos, duets, and trios that compete on the Novice, Intermediate and Advanced levels.  We are always looking to add new teammates!

 

We are holding Open Auditions on Wednesday, July 13th, from 6-9pm at our Studio.  This is a free event, and we’d love to have you join us.  There’s no obligation and results will be emailed within one week of the event.  Our Open Auditions are open only to new potential team members, ages 8 and up.  If you have a dancer aged 5-7, please consider joining our “mini camps” being held July 12-14 and July 26-28.  This will give us a chance to observe your dancer for possible inclusion in our youngest teams.

 

We anticipate 40-minute audition sessions of each genre, grouped by age.  Once we receive all of our registrations, we will be in contact via email with your time slot(s).  At some point during the evening (time TBA) there will be an informational session for parents.  A short chat about how we run our team, expectations and requirements, and costs, and then we will be open to all questions.  This time will be announced when we send time slots for the audition groupings.
